Hornets top Hawks on Stephenson's 3 in 2OT

Lance Stephenson knocked down a dramatic 33-foot jump shot off the glass at the buzzer to lift the Charlotte Hornets to a 122-119 double-overtime win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.

Stephenson registered his first double-double with the Hornets, finishing with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Al Jefferson scored a season-high 34 points and Gary Neal added 23 points off the bench as the Hornets (3-3) beat the Hawks in Charlotte for the first time since 2011.

Al Horford led Atlanta (1-3) with 24 points, and Jeff Teague added 22.

Timberwolves 103 Magic 112 (OT)

Aaron Gordon had six of his 17 points in overtime, and the Magic beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 112-103.

The Timberwolves (2-3) lost point guard Ricky Rubio to a sprained left ankle late in the first half.

Kevin Martin scored 21 points for Minnesota, but missed a short jump shot in the final seconds of the fourth quarter.

Bulls 118 Sixers 115

Mike Dunleavy scored 12 of his season-high 27 points in the decisive third quarter and the Chicago Bulls held off a late Philadelphia rally.

Jimmy Butler added 23 points and Pau Gasol chipped in 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulls, whose 4-0 road start is their best since going 6-0 away from Chicago to start the 1996-97 season.

Tony Wroten led four Sixers in double-figures with a career-high 31 points.

Pacers 98 Celtics 101

Jeff Green, perfectly positioned in the lane to pluck the ball out of the air, draw a foul and sink two free throws that sealed a 101-98 win Friday night.

Green finished with 15 points and seven rebounds, and Jared Sullinger led Boston's fourth-quarter push by scoring 11 of his 17 points in the final period.

Marcus Smart was carted to the locker room after crashing to the floor on a hard foul as he drove to the basket with 11:07 left. Smart never got up and his teammates gathered around as medical personnel attended to the injury.

Roy Hibbert had 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Pacers and Chris Copeland scored 17.
