The Portland Trail Blazers have signed 6-foot-4 guard Diante Garrett to a nonguaranteed training camp roster spot.
Garrett played 71 games last season with the Utah Jazz. With the Jazz, the 25-year-old Garrett averaged 3.5 points and 1.7 assists in 14.8 minutes per game.
As part of the deal, the Blazers would control Garrett's rights for two years unless they waive him.
