Washington Wizards guard Garrett Temple has exercised the player option on his contract for next season, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
The decision is not a surprise; Temple said he expected to opt in last month. Temple, 29, will make $1.1 million next season, a bump in pay from the $981,084 he made this past campaign.
