Free-agent guard Gary Neal has agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million contract with the Washington Wizards, according to league sources.
Neal, 30, had been pursuing the chance to return to a contender, and as a Baltimore native, the Wizards offer a chance to return closer to home.
The Wizards used their bi-annual exception to sign Neal, and have their full mid-level exception starting at $5.4 million available for West.
