South Carolina coach Frank Martin suspended sophomore forward Demetrius Henry and freshman guard Shamiek Sheppard for the remainder of the regular season on Tuesday.
The suspensions for unspecified conduct detrimental to the team were announced before the Gamecocks' game at Georgia.
Henry, from Miami, has started 19 games and is averaging 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds. Sheppard, from Brooklyn, New York, has averaged 1.6 points and 1.3 rebounds in seven games.
