Seven players were ejected in overtime of Texas' 61-59 win over No. 14 Baylor on Monday night after they left their respective benches to join a shoving match between two opposing players.
Baylor players John Heard, Ishmail Wainright and Johnathan Motley and Texas players Kendal Yancy, Connor Lammert, Prince Ibeh and Cameron Ridley were kicked out of the game after a bench-clearing skirmish that started as a scuffle between Texas point guard Isaiah Taylor and Baylor forward Royce O'Neale.
Taylor and O'Neale battled for a loose ball with 1:57 to play in overtime. A frustrated Taylor rose from the floor after he was hit in the mouth by what appeared to be an incidental elbow by O'Neale during the tussle for the loose ball.
