Free agent forward Josh Smith is thrilled to be joining the Houston Rockets and playing once again with his good friend Dwight Howard.
Smith cleared waivers following his release by the Detroit Pistons, and chose to sign with the Rockets over a number of teams including the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat.
"It's an exciting time for me," Smith said in an interview with FOX26 Sports. "Being able to be reunited with a good friend and one of the best teammates I ever played with, I think we can definitely do something special."
