Rick Carlisle isn't concerned about how to split backcourt playing time

It's no deep, dark secret about how coach Rick Carlisle is going to divvy up playing time in the backcourt behind starters Monta Ellis and Jose Calderon.

Just because he's got more options now with Shane Larkin and Wayne Ellington active doesn't mean he has to do some major analytic study on who should play and who should sit.

It's not nearly that complicated.

"Whoever's playing the best plays," Carlisle said. "Whoever earns the minutes plays. That's the best way to put it."
