The San Antonio Spurs have signed Joel Anthony to a second 10-day contract. Anthony was previously signed to a 10-day contract with San Antonio on Jan. 23.
Injuries
An MRI revealed that Kings guard Garrett Temple suffered a partial tear of the left biceps femoris muscle (hamstring). He is expected to miss 2-3 weeks.
NBA awards
Wizards’ Scott Brooks and Warriors’ Steve Kerr were named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Coaches of the Month for games played in January.
Injuries
Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia has a strained rotator cuff in his right shoulder and will be sidelined for at least a week.
