An MRI performed today revealed that Kings guard Garrett Temple suffered a partial tear of the left biceps femoris muscle (hamstring) in the third quarter of last night’s contest at Houston.
He is expected to miss 2-3 weeks and be reevaluated after the All-Star break.
The seven-year NBA veteran is averaging a career-high 7.7 points (.436 FG%, .367 3pt%, .790 FT%), 2.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and a career-high 26.6 minutes in 49 games (15 starts) for the Kings this season.
