New Mexico forward collapses during game

New Mexico beat New Mexico State 83-74 on Sunday night in a game marred by Lobos forward Devon Williams' collapse midway through the second half.

Williams was taken off the court on a stretcher with about 11 minutes left to play and transported to a nearby hospital. Details on his condition were not immediately available.

New Mexico coach Craig Neal told reporters after the game that Williams was being examined for a neck injury.
