The Duke men's basketball team's thin frontcourt suffered a major blow Monday, as the school announced leading rebounder Amile Jefferson is out indefinitely with a right foot injury.
The 6-foot-9 senior forward was off to a career-best season, averaging 11.4 points and 10.3 rebounds for the Blue Devils.
More importantly for Duke, his leadership on a team with a lot of inexperience was vital to their on-court development.
