Tennessee freshman guard Lamonte Turner has been ruled ineligible for the 2015-16 season. Turner tweeted Monday that he had been ruled ineligible.
Tennessee athletic department spokesman Tom Satkowiak confirmed that Turner is unable to compete or travel with the Volunteers this season because he "was not cleared by the NCAA eligibility center." Satkowiak said Turner will be able to practice with the team.
