Dyshawn Pierre, Dayton's leading returning scorer and rebounder, has been suspended by the school for the fall semester.
Pierre is expected to miss the first 10 games of the season. He will likely be eligible to return Dec. 22 against Miami (Ohio).
The 6-foot-6 senior averaged 12.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game last season.
