The Dallas Mavericks are in aggressive contract talks with free agent center JaVale McGee, a source said.
The Mavs are searching for a rim protector after DeAndre Jordan reneged last week on a verbal commitment to sign with Dallas.
McGee, 27, appears to fit the Mavs’ needs.
