Indiana's already thin frontcourt took a body blow Monday, losing Hanner Mosquera-Perea to a knee injury that will keep him out for at least the next couple of weeks.
A source familiar with the situation confirmed that Mosquera-Perea, a 6-9 junior forward who has started all of IU's games to this point, will miss between two and four weeks with a knee injury sustained Monday.
This season, despite lingering inconsistency, Mosquera-Perea established himself as Indiana's most productive post player. Playing a career-high 20.9 minutes, Mosquera-Perea averaged 7.4 points and five rebounds per game.
