Drake seniors Gary Ricks, Jr. and Karl Madison have each been suspended for three games by the school for accepting improper benefits.
The school says Ricks and Madison received the benefits in 2012-13, when they played under former coach Mark Phelps. They'll miss Drake's first three games, starting with Friday's opener against Bowling Green.
