Mississippi suspended senior forward Aaron Jones for three games on Friday night following a violation of team rules.
Jones' suspension includes Mississippi's exhibition against Delta State tonight, as well as its first two regular season games against Charleston Southern and Troy.
The athletic Jones was the Rebels' leading rebounder and shot blocker last season.
