Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team has signed guard Troy Daniels from Houston’s single-affiliation NBA D-League partner Rio Grande Valley.
Daniels has been assigned back to Rio Grande Valley and will remain with the Vipers. He is the 19th Gatorade Call-Up of the season from the D-League. Houston opened the roster spot for Daniels by waiving forward Ronnie Brewer.
Daniels (6-4, 204, Virginia Commonwealth) has averaged 23.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 32 games (21 starts) with Rio Grande Valley this season.
