New Orleans Pelicans reserve Tyreke Evans was at the center of a great story Wednesday, when he made a surprise appearance after initially expecting to miss 1-2 weeks with a sprained left ankle.
Unfortunately for Evans, he aggravated the same injury Friday vs. Memphis, forcing him to leave the game.
Evans appeared to step on another player’s foot with 0.8 seconds remaining in the second quarter, causing the re-injury.
