New Orleans Pelicans swingman Tyreke Evans is expected to miss one to two weeks with a sprained left ankle, the team announced Monday.
Evans, one of the team's biggest offseason acquisitions, suffered the injury in the third quarter of Friday night's 109-95 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
It's the same ankle he sprained in the preseason opener on Oct. 5 that sidelined him for nearly three weeks and kept him out of six exhibition games.
