Minnesota guard Daquein McNeil has been suspended indefinitely because of his alleged involvement in a domestic violence incident, the team announced Tuesday.
McNeil was booked on probable cause Monday afternoon, according to Hennepin County jail records. He was still being held without bail Tuesday morning, when the university announced the decision to suspend him.
According to a police report, the female told Minneapolis police that McNeil, who is her boyfriend, physically assaulted her after a verbal argument.
