The Rockets reached an agreement with a former Rockets player, coming to terms with guard Ish Smith on a minimum, one-year contract.
Smith, 26, played in 28 games for the Rockets in the 2010-11 season, averaging 2.6 points and 2.3 assists in 11.8 minutes. He has played for the Rockets, Grizzlies, Warriors, Magic, Bucks and Suns in four NBA seasons.
