Rockets, Daniels sign two-year deal

The Rockets signed Troy Daniels to a two-year, $2 million fully guaranteed contract on Monday, a day after Chandler Parsons headed to the Mavericks.

Daniels, who was undrafted out of Virginia Commonwealth, starred in the NBA Development league as a rookie, but played in just five regular-season games with the Rockets.

He averaged 8.4 points per game in an average of 15 minutes per game. He had 22 points in the season-finale in New Orleans.
