Pelicans drop Cavs despite 41 from LeBron

Tyreke Evans had 31 points and 10 assists, Ryan Anderson tied a career high with eight 3-pointers on his way to 30 points, and the Pelicans beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, 119-114 on Friday night.

Anthony Davis left the game with 5:30 left in the first quarter, complaining of pain in his chest after a free throw by Kevin Love. Pelicans spokesman Matt Ryan called the injury a chest contusion.

LeBron James, returning from a one-game absence because of a sore left knee, scored 41 points, while Love added 21.

Hornets 107 Grizzlies 113 (2 OT)

Mike Conley scored six of his 19 points in the second overtime, and the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Charlotte Hornets 113-107.

Zach Randolph had 20 points and Marc Gasol also scored 19 for the Grizzlies, who got a tying 3-pointer from Vince Carter with 4.5 seconds left in the first overtime.

The Grizzlies won for the sixth time in the past seven games against the Hornets, who got 28 points from Kemba Walker and 25 from Gary Neal.

Pistons 105 Suns 103

Andre Drummond sank a free throw with 2.5 seconds left and the Suns turned the ball over on their last possession of the game to help Detroit seal the win and end a 13-game losing streak.

Drummond's 23 points and 14 rebounds led the Pistons, with Josh Smith adding 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Goran Dragic led the Suns with 18 points, including a layup with 15.9 seconds left in the game to make the score 102-101 Detroit. But the Suns (12-12) came up short.
