James Young will be sidelined for at least two weeks following a shoulder injury suffered earlier this week during a stint with the Maine Red Claws.
"There was a little bit of muscular damage that he can rehab hopefully without surgery," said Celtics head coach Brad Stevens.
The injury occurred Wednesday when Young reached for an outlet pass and after contact with an opposing player, landed hard.
