Pistons assistant Hardaway charged with drunken driving

Former NBA player Tim Hardaway, who is entering his third season as assistant coach with the Pistons, is accused of drunken driving after police said his blood alcohol content was twice over the legal limit when an officer pulled him over in Beverly Hills.

The 5-time NBA All-Star was pulled over less than one block from his home and just down the street from the police station. The officer spotted Hardaway's car along 13 Mile Road and Lasher Road.

Court records show his blood alcohol content was .17.
