Free-agent guard Dion Waiters has signed a two-year, nearly $6 million contract with the Miami Heat.
Waiters holds a player option on the 2017-18 season and signed using the $2.9 million room mid-level exception.
Waiters, 24, leaves Oklahoma City and gives the Heat a starting shooting-guard candidate to replace the loss of All-Star guard Dwyane Wade.
