Stephen Curry scores 51, sets new consecutive 3-point mark

Stephen Curry set a record of 128 consecutive regular-season games with a three-pointer to get the action going Thursday night at Amway Center. Then, he drained a third-quarter, buzzer-beating shot from halfcourt to all but finish off the Magic in Golden State’s 130-114 victory.

Just about everything did go in for the Warriors’ point guard, who finished with 51 points on 10-of-15 three-point shooting and added eight assists and seven rebounds in 34 minutes.

Curry has 276 three-pointers this season, the second-best mark in NBA history. He’s 10 shy of the all-time record he set a year ago in his MVP season.
