The Detroit Pistons have signed rookie guard Ryan Boatright three days before they are required to finalize their regular season roster.
Boatright, 22, was waived on Tuesday by the Nets.
It's likely Boatright, a 6-foot, 170-pound guard who helped UConn to an NCAA national championship in 2014, is sent to the Grand Rapids Drive, the Pistons' NBA Developmental League affiliate.
