The Spurs signed 6-foot-8 former UTEP forward Julian Washburn to a training camp contract Thursday, but don’t expect him to be on the roster long.
Expect Washburn to be waived soon, perhaps as early as Friday, so the Spurs can funnel him to their Development League affiliate in Austin. He is not expected to suit up for the NBA club.
