NBA GMs predict James will lead Cavs to title this season

The league's decision makers have picked the Cleveland Cavaliers to win their first ever NBA championship and LeBron James to win his fifth MVP award, according to results of the NBA.com GM survey released Tuesday.

If they're starting a new franchise, however, general managers would overwhelmingly want to do it with Anthony Davis. Davis got an astounding 86.2 percent of the votes.

The Cavs received 53.6 percent of the votes from those responding to the poll, beating out San Antonio (25 percent). Golden State finished third in the poll with 17.9 percent of the votes.

James got 39.3 percent of the MVP votes to outpace New Orleans' Anthony Davis (25 percent).
