The Denver Nuggets have exercised the third-year options on guard Gary Harris and center Jusuf Nurkic for the 2016-17 season, the team announced today.
Harris, the 19th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft, averaged 3.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 13.1 minutes per game as a rookie in 2014-15.
Nurkic, the 16th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft, averaged 6.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.10 blocks in 17.8 minutes per game as a rookie in 2014-15 and earned a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
Harris and Nurkic were acquired by Denver in a draft-night trade with Chicago on June 26, 2014.
