Rockets forward Donatas Motiejunas said Friday he was not sure if he will be far enough along in his rehabilitation after back surgery to be cleared for the start of training camp this month.
Motiejunas said he is taking his rehab “week-by-week” and waiting for word from doctors about fully returning to the court.
“Whenever my doctors tell me I’m ready, I’m going to be ready,” Motiejunas said. “Nothing is straight right now. I’m trying to work it day-by-day, week-by-week. Just waiting until doctors give me the green light to work.”
