Illinois point guard Tracy Abrams, who missed all of last season with a torn ACL, suffered a torn Achilles on Monday in practice and will miss the 2015-16 campaign.
Abrams suffered the injury in practice while the team was preparing for a trip to Europe in August. A year ago, he tore his ACL in a preseason workout. He averaged 10.7 points and 3.2 assists in 2013-14.
