European 7-footer Tibor Pleiss is finalizing a three-year, nearly $10 million agreement with the Utah Jazz, according to league sources.
Pleiss, 25, has been one of the top centers in the Spanish ACB league and is only awaiting the completion of paperwork on the agreed-upon buyout with his Barcelona contract in order to sign with the Jazz early next week.
Pleiss will join a strong and deep Jazz frontcourt, including 7-foot-3 Rudy Gobert and power forward Derrick Favors.
