Portland Trail Blazers guard Arron Afflalo is expected to decline his $7.75 million player option for next season.
The decline on his option means that Afflalo will become an unrestricted free agent on June 30, though teams are not allowed to announce signings until July 9.
Afflalo would have been in the final season of a five-year, $36.7 million contract he signed with Denver in 2011.
