North Carolina State forward Lennard Freeman is recovering from surgery to repair a broken right leg.
The school says the rising junior had a fracture in the lower part of his leg last week. He will need three to four months to recover before he can resume full basketball activities.
The rising junior started 21 games last season and averaged a team-best 5.6 rebounds.
