The Nuggets' search for their next head coach appears to be nearing a close. The known candidates are interim coach Melvin Hunt, former Suns, Knicks and Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni and former Kings coach Mike Malone.
Malone is not a new entrant; he appeared on many initial lists connected with the search and was granted a second interview with the Nuggets this week.
