Even with plans of re-signing Brandon Knight to pair with Eric Bledsoe, the Suns would like a versatile point guard off the bench who can create shots for himself and teammates.
"We're looking at the guys who could possibly be backup point guards," Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. "The more guys we can get on this team, whether it's point guard, off-guard, three-man, center, forward, whatever it is — that bring intelligence to the game can only help us."
