Arkansas State's Livingston charged with punching officer

An Arkansas State basketball player is charged with punching a police officer in the throat at a medical facility.

Police say Anthony Livingston, 22, hit Jonesboro Officer Tyler Wilson on Thursday after Wilson threatened to shoot him with a stun gun because Livingston was being combative and resisting arrest.

Last season, the sophomore led ASU in scoring and rebounding, and was second-team All-Sun Belt Conference.
