Indiana dismisses Davis, Mosquera-Pera after pot incident

Two days after suspending Devin Davis following a citation for possession of marijuana and saying it would investigate the involvement of Hanner Mosquera-Perea, who was present during the incident, Indiana announced it has dismissed the two players from the team for "not living up to their responsibilities to the program."

Davis, a sophomore, missed all of last season after he was struck by a car driven by teammate Emmitt Holt.

Mosquera-Perea, a senior who averaged 6.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last season, was suspended in 2014 following his arrest for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
