The Trail Blazers have announced that Wesley Matthews will undergo surgery to repair his torn left Achilles’ tendon on Wednesday.
Matthews suffered the season-ending injury last week in the win over the Dallas Mavericks. He was third on the team in scoring, averaging 15.9 points and first in 3-pointers made with 173.
