Goran Dragic came to the Heat in a trade from Phoenix two weeks ago and already has determined that he wants to sign a multi-year contract with the team.
“That’s my wish,” he said after this morning’s shootaround at Georgetown University. “Right now I’m focused on doing as much as possible this season and make the playoffs, but of course this first 10-15 days here has been a great feeling for me. Unbelievable.”
Dragic has a player option for $7.5 million next season that he said he will decline no matter what. He said if he gets a suitable offer from Miami, he has no need to look at any other teams.
