Alabama forward Shannon Hale will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury. Crimson Tide coach Anthony Grant said Monday that Hale will have surgery on Friday.
The 6-foot-8 Hale had averaged 8.2 points and 3.2 rebounds before his injury in the first half against South Carolina on Feb. 24. He's also second on the team in both blocked shots and steals.
