Blazers' LaMarcus Aldridge to start All-Star Game

LaMarcus Aldridge will start for the Western Conference in the All-Star Game on Sunday night.

Aldridge will be the first Trail Blazers player to start in an All-Star Game since Clyde Drexler in 1994, after West coach Steve Kerr named Aldridge a starter in place of injured New Orleans forward Anthony Davis.

The NBA has yet make an official announcement, but Trail Blazers PR confirmed Aldridge's position as a starter.
