Reserve North Carolina forward Desmond Hubert needs surgery to repair a torn ACL after suffering a knee injury in practice last week and will miss the remainder of the season.
Hubert averaged 3.9 minutes in 21 games before being sidelined by the injury. He scored a total of seven points on 2 of 5 shooting from the field and 3 of 9 shooting from the free-throw line while racking up 22 rebounds.
