Oregon State's Victor Robbins suspension extended for DUI

Oregon State basketball player Victor Robbins was handed an extension to his current suspension Wednesday for being cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants, coach Wayne Tinkle announced.

Robbins was cited and released from Benton County Jail on Sunday for a DUII. Robbins, a 6-foot-7 junior from Compton, Calif., has been a key reserve in the first half of the season for the Beavers. He is second on the team in scoring (10.3 points per game).

He was in eight games into a 10-game suspension for an unspecified violation. He's now suspended indefinitely.
