The Dallas Mavericks ?are in the process of bringing back big man Bernard James this week on a 10-day contract, according to league sources.
The Mavericks were looking for a frontcourt player on a 10-day deal even before starting center Tyson Chandler suffered an ankle injury in Monday night's loss to the Los Angeles ?Clippers. But sources told that Dallas has been working to seal a deal to re-sign James.
"We're hoping to, but it's not guaranteed," coach Rick Carlisle said of signing James in time to play against the Jazz.
