Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will participate in the NBA's Three-Point Contest during All-Star Weekend on Feb. 14 in New York, a league source informed.
The source spoke on the condition of anonymity because the league has yet to officially announce the names of those in the field.
Irving, 22, will also make his third All-Star game appearance on Feb. 15. The fourth-year guard won the deep-ball event in 2013. This season he is shooting 41 percent from three and is 13th in the league with 97 threes made.
